FORT WORTH, TX — Fall is when Fort Worth job fairs stop being a rumor and start showing up on the calendar. Between the last day of September and the first week of December, the Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County calendar has seven hiring events on the books, from a full-size fair on the Texas Wesleyan campus to small two-hour sessions where one or two employers bring a stack of openings to a workforce center on the east side, the southeast side and up at Alliance.

2026 Fort Worth Area Job Fair — Wednesday, September 30

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Texas Wesleyan University, Nick and Lou Martin University Center, 3165 E Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76105

The big one this month, and the only full-scale fair on the workforce board's calendar inside Fort Worth before December. It's free, open to job seekers of any background, and the organizer's event page links the employer list and the registration form. Free headshots are on offer, so dress for the photo. Central Workforce Center Hiring Fair Days — Thursday, October 1

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Central Workforce Center, 1515 S. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111

A two-hour session with two employers and a clear lean toward outdoor and construction work. Integrity Designs is hiring a landscape construction foreman and landscape crew members. Labor Finders is filling electrical and plumbing apprentice spots and a carpenter role based in Burleson, plus certified traffic flaggers. Tarrant County Sheriff's Office Detention Officer Hiring — Tuesday, October 6

9:00 – 11:00 a.m. | Central Workforce Center, 1515 S. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111

One employer, one job: detention officer with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office. This is public-sector work with a real screening process, so treat the morning as the first step, not the finish line. Age, background and certification requirements live in the posting linked from the event page, and it's worth reading them before you make the drive. It starts at 9:00, an hour earlier than the other center events.

Alliance Employer Hub Hiring Fair Days — Wednesday, October 7

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | WSTC Alliance Employer Hub, 3rd floor of TCC CEATL, 2301 Horizon Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76177

The deepest roster of the October center events, co-hosted with Tarrant County College up on the north side. MP Materials, the rare earth magnet maker with a plant in north Fort Worth, lists more than a dozen roles, including ten material handler openings along with operators, technicians, engineers and machinists. Benchmark Hospitality is staffing Deloitte University, the firm's training campus in Westlake, with nine cook openings, five server openings, maintenance and front desk agents. Resource Connection Hiring Fair Days — Thursday, October 8

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Resource Connection Workforce Center, 1400 Circle Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76119

Labor Finders brings the same four roles it lists on October 1: electrical apprentice, plumbing apprentice and carpenter in Burleson, plus certified traffic flagger. Different day, different center, same employer. Pick whichever address is easier for you. Southeast Fort Worth and Forest Hill residents will find Circle Drive closer than Sylvania. 15th Annual Hiring Red, White & You! — Thursday, November 5

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Globe Life Field, 734 Stadium Dr, Arlington, TX 76011

A short drive east on I-30, and the largest event on this list. About 165 employers are expected, with the full list and openings released 72 hours before the fair. Veterans and military spouses get priority access, but the organizer says plainly that it's open to everyone, including the general public. Admission and parking are free (Lots A and R are closest). Expect free headshots, job fair mentors for resume and interview help, and interpreters in Arabic, French, Spanish and Sign Language. Pre-register or sign up on-site.

Congressman Marc Veasey 11th Annual Job Fair — Friday, December 4

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Texas Wesleyan University, Nick and Lou Martin University Center, 3165 E Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76105

Back to Polytechnic Heights to close out the season. The fair is open to everyone and billed as a chance to interview with employers hiring now. The employer list and flyer haven't been posted yet, and the event page doesn't list a cost, so check back in November before you plan around it.
